What is Electrolysis?
Electrolysis is the only proven permanent method of hair removal.
It has been used safely for over 125 years and is well proven. It works on all hair and skin types and color on any part of the body.
During treatment a sterilized disposable filament is inserted into the hair follicle and a mild electrical current is released for a fraction of a second. This cauterizes the papilla at the base of the follicle. Once the papilla is destroyed and is closed off from it’s blood supply, the follicle is incapable of ever producing a hair again, resulting in permanent hair removal.
Methods
Galvanic
The Galvanic method is the original method of electrolysis. It uses an electrical current to stimulate a chemical reaction, creating a tiny amount of lye that destroys the hair follicle cells.
Thermolysis
The Thermolysis method involves using radiofrequency energy to generate a tiny burst of heat that destroys the follicle cells.
Blend
The Blend method combines the galvanic and thermolysis methods. The RF energy of the thermolysis method heats the lye generated by the galvanic method, destroying the follicle cells.
